The neighbor came over for a little bit this afternoon, and when she left she took both kids for a ride in her little ATV/Jeep type thingy. While they were all out enjoying nature, Dave and I sat on the couch watching *M*A*S*H* and snapping beans.

It's nice to have fresh veggies from the garden, but it's a lot of work. And our busy canning season is just beginning . . .

I'll be glad when our kitchen is back to normal again . . . say in October. MAYBE.
