Today I'm thankful for that last blast of Winter. I always look SO forward to Spring, but around here, I never expect it too soon. Winter always has a way of sneaking back in, when you least expect it. Yesterday I was running around in shorts and a t-shirt. Today . . .
it's back to jeans and a sweatshirt.
I made sure that I got out and took a picture of my Crocuses before they got completely buried.
Then I worked on cleaning up the kitchen, doing some laundry, and fixing chili for our little community's annual Windy Days get together. (I hope no one notices that I forgot to put the chili powder in. HA!)
When I went out this evening to put more wood in the stove it was STILL snowing.
We've definitely reached the 10 inch mark and it's still coming down at 10:30 p.m. It looks like tomorrow will be a fabulously white day! No church tomorrow . . . but maybe a snowman or two will be in order.
Oh my God, did it snow again??? Hope see more of spring soon.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, what's that food called? I really like the last photo a lot!
Yes, we have more snow. 10-14 inches more. lol Crazy weather.
ReplyDeleteAnd that food is chili . . . a mix of browned hamburger, onions, beans and tomatoes.
OH, I make it frequently and never recognized it.
