Dave's folks gave us a surprise visit today. We were expecting them to roll in on Tuesday, but they called about lunch time, saying they were headed our way from Springfield. Needless to say, I had to do some shuffling and quick cleaning in preparation for their arrival.

And it was so cold and windy today! We even had snow flurries! As soon as Bayleigh got home from school, she had to run out and try to catch snowflakes on her tongue.



Dave fixed tacos for supper, and afterwards . . . he and Eli played Candyland, while Bayleigh and grandma played Dominos.



Eli isn't really old enough to play . . . he just likes to vroom the characters around the path. I thought it was cute when daddy helped Eli draw his card and told him to move to the green space, that Eli did this:
