March 2, 2010

Today I'm thankful for the little things . . . like Dominos,

and blocks, and the possibilities that each of them hold.

With Dominos, you can play several different games, stack them into towers and roads, or set them up and knock them down again.

With blocks, you can build just about anything, and with these blocks in particular you can even practise your spelling and reading.

As I watched Eli create with his blocks, I wasn't sure what, if anything, he was putting together.

But I should have known it would have SOMETHING to do with cars.  It made a nice (if bumpy and uneven) race track.  His little mind never ceases to amaze me.

In amongst all the play time this morning, I managed to get all three bathrooms cleaned and three loads of laundry done.  And I finished up on the sorting of my printed photos!  YAY!

Tomorrow I finish tackling the taxes, and then I'm going to delve into my photoshop program a little more.  Rating and tagging . . . rating and tagging my friends.

  2. I can see how much Eli loves playing with his toys and also how much you love taking photos of him.

Love every single photo and I'm still amazed at how you manage to come up with such lovely photos everyday.
