July 28, 2009

We HAD to go grocery shopping today. So I decided to call the pediatrician and see if they could squeeze Eli in. He just hasn't been his normal self the past few days and after the all over body rash, and being sick on Sunday, I thought it wouldn't hurt to have him checked out. Just in case!

Sure enough he had strep throat. Not that something like that would keep him from being sassy to mommy, or throwing temper tantrums . . . *sigh*.

After we finished up at the pediatricians, we ran through the ER to pick up an ice pack for the anti-biotics. As we were leaving, we got to see the helicopter take off and head for shelter. There was a nasty looking storm moving in!

We finished running errands and made it home just in time for me to catch a few shots of the steam rising from the pavement after the rain . . .

and a few moments after that, the sun came back out to give everything a last minute shimmer before slowly sinking down and disappearing for the day.

God's creations and their cycles, never cease to amaze me.
