March 13, 2010

Today I am thankful for the opportunity to sleep in.  It's been awhile since I got to actually do that, but it felt good.  So good that I could have stayed in bed with a good book all day, if responsibilities were non-existent.  However, since that's purely fantasy, I got up made some homemade bread (with hubby's assistance) . . .

and then frittered away my day.  I DID manage to make it upstairs for a short while and accomplished knocking out a few more piles in my retreat.

I put a HUGE stack of layouts in page protectors and then in an album . . .

and I finished putting some cards together, that I'd started back in 2007.  (HA! Tell me I can't procrastinate with the best of them.)

Oh yeah . . . and laundry.  Lots and lots of laundry.  But that's pretty much the norm on any given day that ends in "Y".

Daylight Savings Time is going to kick me in the backside I'm afraid.  When Monday roles around, it will be like I'm getting up at 4:00 a.m. instead of 5:00 a.m.  What NUT came up with THAT idea anyhow?  Sadist.

  1. Happy to hear you had some sleep.

I hate daylight saving and the nut/nuts that came up with that idea are the wealthy rich behind the curtains that rule our daily lives. I'll avoid calling names, because I might fill up your blog.
