February 28, 2010

Today I'm thankful for God's mercy.  I am a sinner.  However, it is so comforting to know that no matter how far from God I stray, He is always right beside me every step of the way, and I can turn to him, when I finally reach the end of my rope.

I struggle daily with my faith, but I continue to seek the Lord.  Some days (weeks/months/years) are harder than others.  Like I said . . . it's a struggle for me.

I'm stubborn and hard headed, and sometimes even a little hard hearted.  I see this in myself and I don't like it, but I have the choice and the will to make the changes in my life that I need to, with God's guidance.  I guess that "stubborn-ness" will come in handy, as I "FOCUS" on this aspect of my life.

I'm glad to know that while I'm searching for the Lord, He is, in turn, searching for me.  I look forward to the day when we will finally meet.

After church today, I fixed lunch and we all sat around watching the Olympics Gold Medal Hockey match, while I sorted more photos.

WHAT A GAME!  That last minute score by the USA to tie Canada was simply amazing!  Although the USA lost the game in overtime, I couldn't be more proud of them.  They played with heart, as did Canada.  They're both gold medal winners in my book!

I finished sorting another box and I'll be finishing up the last set of printed photos that I have, tomorrow afternoon.  Next, I'll be moving on to getting all my digital photos printed, so I can do the same with them!  This might take awhile . . . but OH the reward for these efforts will be sweet.

  1. What a beautifully worded blog. I don't think I could have said it any better. Thank the Lord above that he will always be there with us... no matter what!! My devotional today was about God knowing exactly what is going on in your life and that he understands. May you have a blessed Monday!! I'm so sorry I'm so far behind on leaving blog commentS!!!

  2. I'm sure you'll meet the lord one day and I only know you as a kind hearted lady and even though we all have our flaws, those who realize it can make the change needed and you do see your flaws and I'm sure you'll be able to make the change.

I love reading your blog and watch your photos and I thank you once again for letting us into your life.

    Great capture!
