July 15, 2010

Today I'm thankful for pretty flowers, and early morning showers.

I took mom to her doctor's appointment for her yearly check-up.  But before we left I snapped a few photos next to the garage . . .

and a few shots of the squash growing out of my mom's flower bed in front of the house.

After we finished up at the doctor's, we headed off to the flea market (our favorite place in town).  I found an old Kodak film tank . . .

with the trays, which I think I can use to store a small amount of my ribbons and fibers on my work surface.  Another one of those "vintage" photo finds, that might come in useful in my space.

After the flea market, we headed to Wal-Mart for some returns, and then headed home.  After being up most of the night, (went to sleep around 1:00 a.m., Eli had a bad dream at 3:00 a.m., storm blew through at 5:00 a.m. so I had to get up and unplug everything . . .so I just stayed up)  I was exhausted, but the kids were wound up, so there was no rest for me!  I'm hoping to get to bed early and sleep in tomorrow.

No running today, but I'll be back at it in the morning!  Must get some sleep!

  1. Hope the checkup turned out well! Lovely flora shot.

It's awesome to see how creative you are. Who would have guessed that a film tank will make the perfect place to store ribbons and fibers ;)

Have a wonderful day, I'm off to bed.
