November 1, 2009

I had planned on a leisurely afternoon of laundry as soon as we got home from church, but circumstances being what they were, I ended up chatting with my sister-in-law . . .

and we took a nice two mile walk. When we got back to mom's house to pick up the kids, I just had to snap a photo of her kale . . . purples and yellows. GORGEOUS!

And as evening approached, I thought this looked kind of Fall like, for the first day of November.

A big moon and grandpa's old chicken house, with the last batch of vegetables picked from the garden, and things starting to wither and fall away.
