Today I'm thankful for a little girl time with my oldest.  After church we painted our toe nails to match.

Not that anyone is going to see mine (except for these photos).  I think feet are gross and I've never been a sandal wearer.  I'm much more comfortable in tennis shoes or boots. 

And as you can see in the above photo . . . my little girl will be wearing my shoes in a few short years.  (She's going to be a great bare-foot water skiier.)

I, on the other hand, end up wearing kid's shoes because my feet are small.

Anywhere from a size 3 to a size 6 depending on the brand.  It sucks, when all you can find is Barbie or Tinkerbell tennis shoes in your size.  Thank goodness for Nike!

And while I'm on the subject of clothes . . . I really dislike wearing dresses and skirts.  I wear them to church each Sunday and to weddings and funerals if I HAVE to, but I have pretty simple tastes.  Levi's and a t-shirt are my preferred articles of clothing.  Just another one of my quirks.  If I had to choose between style and comfort, comfort will get my vote every time.
