Today I'm thankful for a little time to myself. Dave canned green beans this morning, and this afternoon he took the kids to Springfield for a day out. It's after 9:00 p.m. and they're just now on the way home, so I'm sure the kids will sleep well tonight! (Thanks honey, for giving me a little break with the kiddos.) I accomplished quite a bit while everyone was gone.
Dave and the kids left around 1:00 p.m. and I jumped into getting some more laundry done, then I hopped on the treadmill for 30 minutes. (Another 2.25 miles today.) At 2:30 p.m., Stacey dropped Kasey off, because she had to work for a few hours and mom and dad were gone. Kasey wanted me to play with her, since my two weren't here to play with, so we ended up playing with the Lite Brite. I hope she had fun!
Mom and dad picked her up around 3:30 p.m., and then I jumped back into the cleaning. I managed to clean 2.5 bathrooms from top to bottom, scrubbed the entry, and cleaned out a corner where I moved my treadmill.
It's nice to have my focus back, and it's been a fabulous day. If I could have a day like this once a week, it would be heaven. There was nobody here to make more messes, as I cleaned, so I actually feel like I've made some progress today.
I can't wait to start on tomorrow's to-do list!
